Rob LaPorte is a Project Manager with the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy on the Projects & Design team. Rob has co-managed the Evolving Shorelines Project at Bothin Marsh through scoping, community-based visioning, and conceptual design. Rob has over 10 years of experience working in park planning, ecological restoration, and trail projects in collaboration with the Parks Conservancy’s land management agency partners, including planning and implementation of the Dias Ridge and Muir Beach restoration projects. Rob also has several years of experience as a Coastal Planner and holds a B.A. in Urban Studies and Planning from the University of California San Diego.
Veronica Pearson is a Sr. Ecological Restoration Planner with Marin County Parks. She co-manages the Evolving Shorelines Project with Rob LaPorte. Veronica’s educational background is in natural resource management and ecogeomorphology with 15 years of experience working on environmental restoration and planning. She is also a project manager for the Bolinas Lagoon North End Restoration Project, the Aramburu Ecological Restoration Project, and the McInnis Marsh Restoration Project. All of these projects include wetland enhancement and SLR adaptation.
