Ready to make a difference?                                                 Start here with EFM Forum 2020.

Forum 2020 is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for: a series of classes with experts that provides both an introduction to the management of regional ecosystems AND hands-on training in effective advocacy. And you don’t even need to leave your home: all classes are conducted virtually.

EFM designed Forum 2020 to provide #education4action. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of climate impacts to the natural and built environment and you’ll learn what you can do to protect it. Take the whole series for the full benefit, or if you prefer, sign up for just those individual events that interest you.

"No More Business As Usual. Securing a Climate-Safe Future" - Ellie Cohen, CEO, the Climate Center will kick off Forum 2020 with a keynote that weaves together climate science, climate justice, and climate action with the pandemics of COVID and racism on September 15.

Elizabeth Rush, Pulitzer-Nominated author of "Rising - Dispatches from the New American Shore", will discuss the social justice implications of sea-level rise, the fragility of marshes and the treat to coastal property on September 22.

"Make your Message Stick" - Kraemer Winslow, President/Founder, Make Your Point Communications, Inc. Learn what influences elected officials and how to present your advocacy message. To get the most from this class, plan to attend all four sessions, which will take place virtually on October 27, November 10, January 19 and 26.

Register for the entire series or sign up for individual classes. You get to decide (for a change)!
